There’s no jargon, no PowerPoint, no pressure. It’s just a laid-back chat about your business, your goals, and how a website can actually support the work you’re already doing.
We want to make sure we’re a good fit and we know what you need out of a website. So, here’s a look at what actually happens when you hop on a discovery call with us.
It’s a Conversation, Not a Sales Pitch
First things first: we’re not here to corner you with a sales pitch. This is just a conversation. We want to hear about your business, your goals, and your ideas for your site. No pressure, no commitment.
You don’t need to have a plan or a strategy mapped out. In fact, a lot of people we talk to don’t. That’s totally fine. We’ll ask questions to get a sense of where you’re at and what you’re hoping to get out of your website.
Some things we usually ask:

- What’s working (or not working) with your current site?

One of the most helpful things you can bring to a discovery meeting is inspiration. Have a few sites you love? Show us. Got a Pinterest board full of ideas? Send it over. Even a napkin sketch helps.
We don’t copy sites, but knowing what you like helps us zero in on what makes sense for you. We’ll talk through colors, layout, functionality – whatever stands out to you. And if you don’t have a single idea, that’s not a problem. We’ll show you examples and walk you through it.
No, We’re Not Fixing That Old Site
This is where we’re upfront. We don’t take on broken or outdated websites and try to patch them up. That’s not what we do. If your site’s not working, it probably needs more than a fresh coat of paint.
