Why two fees instead of one?
Because they pay for two different things, and bundling them hides what you're actually buying. The Design & Development fee pays for the craft: the tailored design and build, which is yours once that fee is paid in full. The monthly subscription pays for the platform that keeps it alive: hosting, security, backups, licenses, and weekly updates. Splitting them means every dollar is labeled honestly, and you never wonder where your money goes.
Can I pay the build monthly?
Yes. Pay the Design & Development fee in full before we start, or split it into 12 equal monthly payments alongside your subscription. No interest, no credit check. It's the same total either way, just spread out so a great site doesn't mean a big lump sum.
What happens to my price after year one?
If you finance the build over 12 months, that payment comes off your bill once it's paid in full. After year one you're left with just the monthly subscription ($299 on Basic or $399 on Core), and it stays there. Your price goes down, not up.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The design and the build are yours once the Design & Development fee is paid. Pay it upfront and it's yours at launch. Spread it over 12 months and it's yours the day it's paid off. Not rented. Yours. The platform that runs it (hosting, security, software licenses) is your subscription, managed by us so you never think about it. You own the work; we keep it running.
Are there contracts?
No long-term contracts. The subscription is month-to-month with 30 days' notice and no minimum term. We earn your business every month by keeping your site fast, secure, and delivering leads, not by locking you in.
Is support really free?
Really. Every plan, every client, no hourly billing for asking us a question. Our team is US-based in Chicagoland, and most requests are done within one business day. Support is a reason to trust us, not a line item you have to ration.
What if I need more than 5 (or 15) pages?
Basic is a clean, fixed 5-page build. If you need more content than that, the move is to Core, which includes up to 15 pages plus 5 city service pages. On Core, additional pages are $150 each and extra city service pages are $100 each, quoted on your proposal. Bigger needs like a careers page, portfolio, or ecommerce are quoted too.

Baseline vs. Foundational SEO

On Basic

Baseline SEO covers the essentials every site needs: meta tags, page titles, social sharing setup, and submission to the search engines. Google can find your site, read it, and index it properly.

On Core

Foundational SEO includes everything in Baseline, then goes further: dedicated service pages built to rank, so each thing you do has its own page competing in search instead of one page trying to rank for everything.

Standard vs. Advanced forms

On Basic

Standard forms are smart lead capture forms with instant email notifications the moment a lead comes in. Name, contact info, what they need: captured and in your inbox in seconds.

On Core

Advanced forms do real work: conditional logic that adapts as customers type, file uploads so they can send photos of the job, and routing that sends each submission to the right inbox the moment it lands.

Basic analytics vs. Powered by Google

On Basic

Basic site analytics gives you simple traffic stats built into your site: how many people visited and what they looked at.

On Core

Enhanced Analytics is the full Google toolset: Google Analytics and Search Console, configured for you and reported monthly. It's only possible on Core because Google requires the consent compliance Core includes.

City service pages

Dedicated pages for each city or town you serve, built to rank in local search. When someone nearby searches for what you do plus their town, they land on a page about their area instead of a generic homepage. Core includes 5, and you can add more for $100 per page.

Zapier & CRM automation

Your website talks to the tools you already use. We build 1 to 2 working automations at launch, like new leads dropping straight into your CRM or onto your calendar. Working automations, not just access to a tool.

Privacy & consent compliance

Privacy policies and a cookie consent banner, configured for you by Termageddon. It keeps your site compliant with privacy laws, and it's also what unlocks Enhanced Analytics: Google requires consent compliance to run.

Industry resource articles at launch

Your site launches with six industry resource articles already written and published, so your blog is live and useful from day one. They are also a preview of Content Booster, our ongoing service that keeps your blog growing after launch.
