Newly opened in January of 2020, Aura Beauty had to close due to Covid-19 shortly after its conception. When personal care businesses began to reopen, it was important for Aura Beauty to bolster its online presence and grow its client base. They reached out to us at True MTN for a website and a small photoshoot in order to capture headshots of the stylists and action shots of their services.

The Core Features.

We had a few requirements when developing this site for Aura Beauty. Firstly, it needed to have a clean, modern look to appeal to a wide range of clients, and have stylish, but easy to read titles on each page. Along with that, it was important to have a simple booking form for clients to set up appointments without hassle. When it comes to the hair industry, displayed beautiful images on your social media and website is a necessary key to success and we think we captured perfect images for the site. The Content.

For Aura Beauty’s content shoot, we arrived before the salon opened to clients and started by taking headshots of every stylist. For this round of headshots, we decided to leave out the solid color backdrop and keep the natural backdrop of the salon itself. Afterwards, we took some action shots as the first clients arrived for a variety of services.
