A home builder with two distinct ways to build and ten active communities that needed a site to guide buyers without overwhelming them.

The project

Diamond Peak Homes builds custom and semi-custom homes across Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland, with a design studio in Crown Point and ten communities ranging from St. John and Cedar Lake to Valparaiso and Dyer. Buyers come to the company two different ways: some want to design a home from the ground up, while others want to choose a proven floor plan and personalize the details. On top of that, prospects need to see which communities have availability, browse past builds for inspiration, and understand the personalization process. The site had to hold all of that, two build paths, ten communities, a gallery, and a design studio, in a way that helps a buyer find their footing instead of getting lost.

How it came together

We split the two ways to buy into clear, parallel paths right at the top: build semi-custom from a personalized floor plan, or go fully custom from the ground up. Each path leads a visitor toward the next logical step rather than dumping every option at once. A gallery of previous builds gives buyers the inspiration they came for and shows the quality of the work, while the ten communities each get their own space so a prospect can find one near them with availability. The design studio is highlighted as the place where personalization happens, reinforcing the idea that buyers get half the decisions made for them and all the personality they want. The whole site is built mobile-first, since house hunting happens on phones as much as desktops.

Every active community gets its own space, letting a prospect find a neighborhood near them and check availability without digging.

A photo gallery of completed homes gives buyers inspiration and shows the craftsmanship before they ever schedule a visit.

Floor plans front and center

Designed floor plans are surfaced so semi-custom buyers can picture their home and see how much is already handled for them.

Design studio highlighted

The Crown Point design studio is presented as the heart of personalization, reinforcing the promise of half the decisions made and all the personality kept.
