Paisans Pizzeria

A family-owned pizza chain with seven locations that needed a site to capture its character and drive online orders.

The project

Paisans Pizzeria has served Chicago-style pizza since 1985, growing from its original Cicero location to seven spots across Chicagoland. Beyond pizza, the menu spans wings, pastas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts, with dine-in, delivery, online ordering, catering, and private events on offer. The brand has real personality, a one-of-a-kind atmosphere with motorcycles and suspended vehicles, and a family-owned story going back four decades. The site had to capture that character, get hungry visitors to a menu and an order button fast, and route them to the right one of seven locations without confusion.

How it came together

We led with appetite and personality, using bold food photography and the brand's confident voice to set Paisans apart from an average pizza place. Because the company runs seven locations, location selection is handled cleanly so a visitor quickly reaches the menu, hours, and ordering for the spot nearest them. Online ordering and delivery are surfaced front and center, since that is the action most visitors come to take, and catering and private events get their own path for bigger occasions. The 1985 family-owned heritage and the unique atmosphere are woven through to build the connection that keeps regulars coming back. The site is built mobile-first, because hungry people decide on their phones.

Bold images of pizza and the menu open the site and set the appetite before a visitor reads a word.

Seven locations, no confusion

Location selection is handled cleanly so a visitor quickly reaches the menu, hours, and ordering for the spot nearest them.

Online ordering front and center

Online ordering and delivery are surfaced prominently, since placing an order is the action most hungry visitors came to take.

Catering and events path

Catering and private events get their own route for visitors planning something bigger than a weeknight dinner.

Forty years of character

The 1985 family-owned heritage and the motorcycles-and-suspended-vehicles atmosphere are woven through to build the connection that keeps regulars loyal.
